Update

External probes confirm nominal latencies for the last hour. We continue to monitor closely.

Update

We've confirmed the connectivity issue is beyond our load balancer and infrastructure, and are working with our infrastructure provider to mitigate.

Note: The most common source for timeout remains overwhelming a cluster, resulting in the nodes getting CPU-throttled.

Update

At the moment, error rates in us-east-1 are under 1% overall. We're in contact with our infrastructure provider to try and track down the issue.

Monitoring

We've identified a possible source of increased error rates in us-east-1 and we've taken action to mitigate the problem. We're monitoring error rates and will resolve this issue once they return to normal operating thresholds.
